Short description on the Lab dog breed:
The Labrador Retriever dog, also known as Labrador or Lab, is one of several kinds of retrievers. Labrador dogs belong to the gun dog group. Labradors are athletic, playful, and the most popular breed of dog by registered ownership in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States (since 1991).
Labradors are relatively large dogs, with males typically weighing 29 to 36 kg and females 25 to 32 kg. Labrador Retrievers weighing close to or over 45 kg are considered obese or having a major fault under American Kennel Club standards, although some Labradors weigh significantly more. The majority of the characteristics of the Labrador, with the exception of colour, are the result of breeding to produce a working retriever. (Exerts from Wikipedia)
Owning Labrador Retriever puppies do have some challenges as puppies when growing can be active and like babies that grow like to chew because of their teeth developing. The Labrador Retriever puppies for sale may love to dig and if left to themselves will dig up your whole garden! For this reason they must be occupied with things to play with and things to chew on. If you bring a new puppy home do not leave him to himself! When off to work do not let them wander around on their own. Give them things to play with and for some time contain them where they cannot be too destructive. When at home teach them what pleases you and what not. The best Labrador puppies for sale you will own is a trained Labrador, that is why we promote our Labrador Retriever puppies for sale to go for training from a young age! We also do not let our Labrador puppies for sale go before they are eight weeks old and preferably sometimes from nine to ten weeks old as this is necessary for them to well socialised and learn submission etc, from mom!
